Solange Knowles’ producer, Dev Hynes, has been working with Mutya Keisha Siobhan, a.k.a the original Sugababes line-up, and today he decided to unleash a track they have worked together on. “Lay Down In Swimming Pools” is heavily sampling Kendrick Lamar’s “Swimming Pools”, but doing the track in a completely different style. The girls have probably done this one for fun, but they gave everyone a great preview of what their voices sound like today all together and delievered an amazing song. They have grown up and you can hear it in their vocals, but that’s not a bad thing; From harmonies and backing vocals to the lead ones, it’s all perfect.
